Grade 5 A and B watched a movie called "The Day after Tomorrow". We watched it because it is related to our PYP exhibition topic Global Warming. The movie was about a teenage boy called Sam, him and his friends go to New York but when they get there there was terible rain storms. Soon it started to snow it was so cold and New York started to freze. There was tornados, huricanes and the sea leavels began to rise and flood the whole city. It was a big scare for Sam and his friends. Sam contacts his father Jack with great difficulty and tells him he might not survive becaus eof the cances to freeze to death. In the mean time all these disaters are spreading around the lots of countries. There was chances of the Earth freezing up was very high. With a lot of difficulty Jack and his two friends travel all the way to New York in search for Sam and the gang. They find everyone and take them back home. The sun then comes out and melts all the ice, the Earth then did not freeze.
The reason for all these disasters is all because of Global Warming, this is what it can do to our Earth. So Stop Polluting!!!!!!!!!!
I liked the movie it was a bit scary but intresting.
